Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Committee
APSA Committees carry out a number of different critical functions for the association.
The mission of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Committee is to promote initiatives and programs that serve to increase APSA membership’s understanding of the myriad impacts of pediatric obesity on children and their families, and to advocate for the use of metabolic and bariatric surgery and other emerging treatments for children with the disease.
