The History Committee will endeavor to honor our patients, their surgeons, and the lifetimes saved by preserving and presenting the ongoing diverse history of pediatric surgery and the American Pediatric Surgical Association.

Vision

The vision of the APSA History Committee is that our past informs our present and helps shape our future. Our diverse history serves as the foundation upon which we build our future.

To preserve and present the ongoing history of pediatric surgery and the American Pediatric Surgical Association through the discovery, collection and conservation of records, artifacts and other relevant materials that are inclusive and comprehensive, including the contributions of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
