Alliance for Radiation Safety in Pediatric Imaging
A coalition of health care organizations dedicated to providing safe, high-quality pediatric imaging nationwide. Its primary objective is to raise awareness in the imaging community of the need to adjust radiation dose when imaging children.

American Academy of Pediatrics
An organization of more than 60,000 pediatricians committed to the optimal physical, mental, and social health and well-being for all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

American College of Surgeons
The American College of Surgeons (ACS) is a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice.

American Pediatric Surgery Managers Association (APSMA)
The American Pediatric Surgery Managers Association advances the administration and management of health care in academic, hospital and private pediatric surgical entities, promotes the concept of professional management in pediatric surgical administration and enhances the continuing educational process for pediatric surgical administrators through sponsorship of meetings, seminars, written communications and much more.

American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association (APSNA)
An organization of pediatric surgical nursing colleagues who care for children in perioperative, inpatient, outpatient and office settings. Association for Academic Surgery

Children’s Oncology Group
The Children’s Oncology Group (COG), a National Cancer Institute supported clinical trials group, is the world’s largest organization devoted exclusively to childhood and adolescent cancer research. The COG unites more than 8,000 experts in childhood cancer at more than 200 leading children’s hospitals, universities, and cancer centers across North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe in the fight against childhood cancer.

ClinicalTrials.gov is a registry and results database of publicly and privately supported clinical studies of human participants conducted around the world.

Csurgeries
Csurgeries is a peer-reviewed surgical video journal for surgeons, trainees and patients. Through an affiliation with Csurgeries, the APSA Pediatric Surgery NaT videos are hosted on their site.

International Pediatric Endoscopy Group (IPEG)
IPEG is comprised of surgeons who practice surgery of children or adolescents with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery or therapy and persons who are accredited trainees in the surgery of children and adolescents, with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery or therapy.

The International Society of Paediatric Surgical Oncology (IPSO)
IPSO is an international society of surgeons who specialise in the surgical care of children with cancer. IPSO’s aims are: to set a global standard for surgical care of children with cancer; to provide a forum and enhance communication between surgeons who specialise in children’s cancer; to promote and support clinical trials aimed at improving the outcome in the treatment of children’s cancer; and to encourage co-operation with other organisations concerned with children’s cancer. The National Library of Medicine
The world’s largest biomedical library, National Library of Medicine (NLM) maintains and makes available a vast print collection and produces electronic information resources on a wide range of topics that are searched billions of times each year by millions of people around the globe. It also supports and conducts research, development, and training in biomedical informatics and health information technology. In addition, the Library coordinates a 6,000-member National Network of Libraries of Medicine that promotes and provides access to health information in communities across the United States.

The Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons (PAPS)
The Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons was founded in 1967 by a small group of pediatric surgeons from Pacific Rim countries. The objective of the association is to promote both educational and social ties among its members.

Pediatric Surgery International
Pediatric Surgery International publishes new and important information from the entire spectrum of pediatric surgery.

Surgical Section of the American Academy of Pediatrics 
The Section on Surgery (SOSu), founded in 1948, has as its primary goals: to present a scientific program which will provide state-of-the art techniques and information for pediatric surgeons; to serve in a consulting capacity to the AAP Board of Directors; to make recommendations for educational programs, policy statements, and other actions on matters relating to the surgical care of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.

World Federation of Associations of Pediatric Surgeons
WOFAPS’ mission is to improve the surgical care of the world’s children which has been embodied in the Declaration of Pediatric Surgery in Kyoto in 2001.
