In the wake of the sudden and untimely passing of Dr. Brad Warner, this Jay Grosfeld, MD Scholarship was dedicated in his memory and long legacy of research and innovation in basic science research.
A visionary pediatric surgeon and gifted mentor, Dr. Warner left behind an extraordinary legacy of healing, teaching, and kindness. Through his leadership as surgeon-in-chief at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, he built world-class surgical programs and mentored countless students and residents. Brad was a very special part of APSA and the APSA Foundation as a tremendous friend, mentor, investigator, and leader, serving on both Boards, including the Foundation Board at the time of his passing. His truest legacy lives in the thousands of lives he touched—patients, students, friends, and family who will forever carry his memory forward.
The APSA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
